Content Editing
Content editing consists of editing the book for content, plot, and character contradictions as well as sentence structure, grammar, and punctuation. To evaluate your cost, please contact me for a quote.
Proofreading
Proofreading consists of doing a final read of the book for punctuation, grammar, and errors. At this stage, the book should be already honed for content, and only in need of a final polish. I will point out lingering content problems if spotted, within reason. To evaluate your cost, please contact me for a quote. I do offer combination content/proofreading prices.
Query/Synopsis Assistance
You've written a whole book, so this should be the easy part, right? But summarizing your "baby" in both a professional and catchy manner is often the hardest part!
Email me your current query/synopsis, and I will walk you through whipping your query and synopsis into shape, including proofreading.
Book Formatting
After your book is edited, a final step in self-publishing is properly formatting your book into a professional and quality product. Both electronic and print books have different requirements. Email me for rates.
